h-SUN Clean ingredients

Both are vegan products, and both are free from preservatives, artificial sweeteners, colourants, flavour enhancers and artificial additives. In addition, they are yeast-free, gluten-free, lactose-free and contain no pollutants.

Sugarcane and molasses

Clean II contains production-related residual sugar as a source of food for the bacterial cultures. This is necessary to enable the bacteria to survive. Basically, microorganisms consume the molasses and sugars during the fermentation process and convert them into lactic acid. Inulin consists of polysaccharides (oligofructose), and serves as a reserve substance for many plants. It is a prebiotic nutrient.

Brown algae/kelp

Although not as commonly used, this foodstuff has a well-deserved place on our list of the healthiest foods in the world. In Asian culture, algae have a completely different status than in Germany. In China, for example, algae have been used successfully in medicine for over 3,000 years, and in Japan almost all meals contain algae. What these cultures have known for centuries, we can now prove scientifically: algae do more than you might suspect at first glance.

Brown algae strengthen the immune system. This is especially true of fucoidan, an ingredient contained in algae. It also has strong anti-inflammatory properties, meaning that brown algae can be successfully used to combat intestinal disease, cancer, heliobacter, high cholesterol and thrombosis.

Brown algae is also said to promote the discharge of toxins, harmful chemicals and heavy metals. The alginates (salts of alginic acid) are responsible for the cleansing effects. These combine, for example, with heavy metals and enable the elimination of these compounds. This also applies to residues of pesticides sprayed on fruit and vegetables, and pollutants from tobacco smoke. In addition, some reports even claim that radiation damage from mobile phones and computer systems can be reduced by alginates.

Iodine

We consider the use of iodine as important. Iodine deficiency is a recurrent problem in Western countries. It is an important trace element that we need to ingest through our nutrition. Algae extract (kelp) contains organically bound iodine, which the body is better able to metabolise than the chemical potassium iodide, which is added to common salt.

Grape seed extract

Grape seed extract contains OPC, which has a tremendous healing potential. OPC is an active plant substance with an antioxidant effect, and is particularly effective in certain areas of the body. In particular, OPC affects the skin, eyes, immune system and even the hormone balance.

Grapefruit extract

Grapefruit seed extract has long been considered an insider’s tip in the fight against bacteria, fungi and viruses. Especially in times of increased risk of infection, during flu and cold season, you should have grapefruit seed extract to hand. Enthusiastic users regularly report how a few drops of grapefruit seed extract, diluted in a glass of water, can stop diarrhoea or flu, or even heal eczema and fungal skin infections. Numerous studies support patient reports on the successful use of grapefruit seed extract. We wanted to include this special ingredient so it could contribute to our intestinal treatment.

Rice bran

Rice bran is a gluten-free food. 100 g of rice bran contains a particularly high amount of fibre, as the following overview shows:

   Calories: 1588 kJ / 379 kcal

   Protein: 13.3 g

   Carbohydrates: 45.7 g

   of which sugars: 0.1 g

   Fat: 15.8 g

of which saturated fatty acids: 2.94 g

   Fibre: 12.0 g

   Sodium: 5 mg

The high fibre content helps to regulate digestion.

In addition, rice bran contains plenty of vitamins (vitamins B1, B3 and B6, vitamin E, folic acid), minerals (magnesium, phosphorus) and secondary phytochemicals.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is an ancient natural remedy which has achieved great fame over the last few years. Nowadays many medical and cosmetic products contain aloe vera. Aloe vera is used as a dietary supplement both internally and externally, and true healing powers are attributed to it: it is believed to strengthen your immune system and relieve pain; a balm to fight the effects of environmental pollution on the body.
